SPRING SEASON (IN-PERSON PLAY)
Please note: Activities/Programming were suspended in spring 2020 and again in spring 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions in Manitoba. We plan to resume activities in Spring 2022 as normal as possible but please know that, due to the ever changing Public Health Guidelines/Orders, we may need to make modifications or even suspend the program on very short notice. We will keep our families updated as soon as information is available.

FEES
For the 2022 Spring Season, all players will be required to provide a $25.00 Volunteer and Fundraising Bond deposit in lieu of registration fees. This is refundable upon participation in volunteer or Fundraising activities to the best of a family's ability. Bond Deposits should be paid by the Season Opener Event (First week in May - dates TBD) and can be paid via E-Transfer, Cheque, or Cash. Each player will also need to provide a $50 Jersey deposit (refundable once jersey is returned at season end). Some families choose to opt out and donate their bond deposit to the program but we hope they will still join us in keeping Challenger Baseball affordable for all families by continuing to participate in Fundraising Opportunities!
WHAT DO FEES INCLUDE?
Players will be given use of a numbered Jersey, their own hat and mask. On top of ensuring our equipment is top notch, throughout the season, we plan many special events at little or no cost to families. Fees also cover administrative costs such as insurance, affiliation fees, field fees, etc.
DAYS/TIMES/LOCATIONS
Please see the "Divisions" tab for more information about your specific division. Sessions will, for the most part, be starting the week of May 1, each year and be held on Saturday mornings until the last week in June (weather dependent).
BUDDIES
Please see our Buddies Page for more information.
At this time, we recommend families to provide a Buddy from their family's "bubble" should we not be able to provide a Challenger Buddy all the time. Please let us know if this is not possible. Buddies are responsible for keeping the player engaged and safe, generally assisting the player with all aspects of participation. Designated buddies will be required to complete a registration form to ensure that we have proper information for insurance purposes & also that they sign our participation waiver.
WHO DO I CONTACT IF I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS
Please remember we are working extremely hard in the background to make sure all players are able to come back to Challenger Baseball safely. Please have patience as we navigate these waters. Our website will be updated as information comes available. Further to that, questions should be directed towards your division coordinator or the Provincial Coordinator.
